Seeding & Germination
We start our seeds in a common hydroponic media known as rockwool. This is what replaces the soil in our system, and is used to provide an initial structure for the seeds to germinate and establish healthy plant starts. Rockwool is a horticultural growing media made from the natural ingredients Basalt rock and Chalk. These are melted at 1600° C into a lava which is blown into a large spinning chamber, and pulls the lava into fibers similar to cotton candy. Once seeded, they spend time in our specially designed propagation systems that provide the appropriate irrigation, nutrients, and light to grow our starts.
Propagation and Finishing
After our seeds are done germinating, they are transferred to propagation systems where they get their first light and nutrients. Then, they are moved to one of our main finishing systems. We use the most advanced LED lightning technology to ensure the proper light recipe for each of our crops. We monitor and adjust the pH and nutrients of the water to be sure all of our produces gets the perfect amount of micro and macro nutrients, which leads to beautiful, consistent, nutrient dense crops.
